Organised by a small crew of passionate locals, Tentertainment was an impressive execution of a festival right in the middle of a small town in Kent. Cosy were welcomed with open arms by the organisers & the public to entertain & involve. With the Gin-Ger cafe serving inside, Cosy fed the audiences appetites for both excellent food & fresh genuine music.
Tentertainment were very accomodating and stage manager Jimmy, keen to prove what difference could be had from a little organisation, did his best to usher every band straight over to us post performance! To no surprise, the public interest and attendance increased and we were rarely anything but a full house.
We had some very interesting guests turn up to perform all of whom managed to impress. 'Club promise', a group of 14 year old lads, filled the yurt with a hoarde of young girls all keen on following some real tangible stars. And they sure did deliver an impressive performance, encompassing some classic squeezebox action and a perceptivly mature attitude and sound. Cosmic John's apperance was entirely unplanned and happened when Tom's instinct sparked him to grab him on his way to the local swimming centre, Cosmic John then went on to deliver a well disiplined raga performance and had the yurt entanced in mantra for nearly an hour! Local to Cosy, Tentertainment was a real treat to take part in and hopefully something we'll be part of for a very long time to come.
